In the wastewater of wet sand washing, too fine sand and surface sand will inevitably be lost with the flow of water. Each production line will lose about 5%-25% of the content, and the amount of loss in one year is also very amazing. This article shares four methods of fine sand recycling.
The sand washing machine is divided into bucket sand washing machines and spiral sand washing machines. The wheel bucket sand washing machine is widely used in the washing of materials in the fields of mining, building materials, chemicals, transportation, concrete mixing plants, etc. The sand washing process is a circular motion. The spiral sand washing equipment uses the propulsion of the spiral blades to clean the soil. In the same way, the sand is extracted by using the different proportions of sand, mud, and water, and the water and mudflow away along the chute.
But no matter what kind of sand washing machine, in the process of stirring the water source, it is inevitable that most of the sand will be brought up, and the separation will not be clear, and it will flow away along with the water tank. Then inevitably caused most of the churn.
The sand washing wastewater flows into the sedimentation tank, preferably equipped with three layers, and sedimentation layer by layer over time, due to the heavy specific gravity of sand and mud, it can be separated after a relatively long period.
Of course, this method also has drawbacks. The long-term precipitation process occupies a large area of the sedimentation tank, and the sedimentary sand and sedimentary mud parts need to be manually excavated in the later stage, which consumes a lot of time and manpower.
The sand washing wastewater is directly discharged to the screen surface of the linear dewatering screen to recover the lost sand.
The disadvantage is that if there is too much mud, it will not be able to recover at all, and the recovery is still a mixture of sediment.
The wastewater from sand washing is directly discharged to the lower water tank part of the fine sand collector, and the mixed sand and mud water is beaten to the cyclone by the slurry pump and then discharged to the screen surface. The fine sand part is discharged with the screen surface, and the mud and water flow back to the lower water tank, forming a cycle to continuously extract the sand in the wastewater.
There are two points to pay attention to in the operation of the fine sand recycling machine: first, do not feed the material when it is started. The second is to consider the overall power when configuring the transformer and configure some voltage appropriately to ensure that the equipment can work normally and will not operate at low voltage.
The lost sand water is discharged into the sinking tank, and a chemical agent that can cause mud and sand to rapidly aggregate into flocs is added, to achieve rapid separation of sand, mud, and water. However, this method is mostly used in the coal slime industry to recover and use clean coal and fine coal. The use in sand and gravel yard has certain limitations and cannot be popularized for the time being.
